KD supplemented TWM’s design team to create a practical and timeless, yet contemporary, interior for this new showcase state- of-the-art science building. Practical materials were specified for the labs while lively tile patterns were designed into the lobby and corridors to give visual interest to the public spaces.To encourage interaction, small conference areas were created in niches for use by faculty and students. The color scheme, materials and finishes were chosen to parallel the natural elements in science and to blend with the university campus building set in a residential neighborhood.
